Abstract:

The aim of the project is to establish the foundations of the National Centre of Competence for industrial 3D printing of polymer materials, with an emphasis on supporting environmentally and energy-efficient production, the cradle-to-cradle approach, efficient use of raw materials and their recycling, and the utilization of waste natural and synthetic materials — all in line with the objectives of the Green Deal and the circular economy.

This Centre was established in Liberec and builds on the combined strengths of the coordinator, leading research organizations, and industrial partners in order to create a strong research programme focused on the efficient and environmentally friendly use of raw materials and energy, increasing the benefits of additive technologies for industry, and thereby creating a robust source of projects for the proposed centre.

This project is co-funded with state support from the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic under the National Centres of Competence Programme.
