Petr Kadera in Události ČT about CZAI Factory

A report by Václav Vohlídal from #Věda24 and Pavla Daňková from the Ostrava newsroom showed why CZAI was established.

📢 “High-performance graphics cards and massive amounts of virtual storage space. Two essential conditions for enabling further growth of companies through the use of artificial intelligence.”

Among those featured in the report were:

🎙️ Petr Kadera, Head of the Intelligent Systems for Industry Department at our institute, who presented the use of AI for highly accurate local predictions of weather conditions and photovoltaic power plant performance — for a specific location (covering just a few hundred square meters) and a specific point in time (for example, the next 15 minutes), and

🎙️ Vit Vondrak, Director of the IT4Innovations National Supercomputing Center, who emphasized that CZAI 💬 “will primarily serve small and medium-sized enterprises, start-ups, as well as large corporations.”
