On April 11, 2018 a prestigious race of autonomous cars models of Formula 1 was held in Porto in Portugal. It was the second year of the competition organized by Pennsylvania University. Seven teams from around the world, including representatives from the USA, South Korea and Italy, qualified for the race.
Team of Prof. Zdeněk Hanzálek from the Czech Institute of informatics, robotics and cybernetics CTU and the students of the Cybernetics and Robotics program at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering CTU managed won the first place.
