On 29 April 2026, the D.A.R. Continuum Conference will take place at CIIRC CTU in the RICAIP Testbed Prague facilities. The event will run from 9:00 to 17:30. The conference will focus on the relationship between data, artificial intelligence, automation, and robotics.

The aim of the conference is to explore how open and FAIR data, process automation, robotic systems, and artificial intelligence interact and influence one another. These domains increasingly form a continuum in which data infrastructures evolve into algorithmic intelligence and ultimately materialize in autonomous and robotic systems operating within human social environments.

The program will provide space for interdisciplinary dialogue among researchers, R&D professionals, policymakers, funding providers, and the broader expert community. Discussions will focus particularly on how AI-based technologies are transforming knowledge production, data governance, and responsibility in the era of open science and autonomous systems.

Special attention will also be given to emerging concepts such as self-driving laboratories, where experimental automation, data infrastructures, and AI are integrated into fully autonomous research processes.

The D.A.R. Continuum Conference is primarily intended for:

  • researchers and academic staff
  • research and development professionals
  • public policy makers
  • research funding providers
  • other members of the professional and broader public interested in the topic

The working language of the conference will be English.

The event is held under the auspices of the President of the Czech Academy of Sciences.
