DISTINCT project is devoted to development of a premier quality multi-disciplinary, multi-professional and intersectorial education and training research framework aimed at improving technology and care for people with dementia and their carers. The unique collaborative partnership DISTINCT led by University of Nottingham comprises 9 world leading research organisations mostly dedicated to health and social care, 9 collaborative partners who include e.g. Alzheimer Europe and some SMEs. The DISTINCT early stage researchers (ESRs) are expected to study how technology can improve the lives of people with dementia. CTU is responsible for education of one of DISTINCT ESTs and will host an ESR from one of the partner institutions for several months.
