The main objective is to investigate behavior of cardiac signals and clinical factors modulating cardiac functions and their relation to clinical outcomes, diagnostics or prognosis.

The main research interests at present:

  • Intrapartum Cardiotocogram analysis and classification
  • Antepartum Fetal Heart Rate Evaluation
  • Body Surface Potential Mapping
  • Inverse Problems in Electro-cardiology

In the past:

  • Intracardiac electrograms fractionation
  • ECG Holter analysis
  • ECG Myocardial Infarction classification

Among methods used to address the above mentioned problems are:

  • Linear and non-linear signal analysis
  • Machine Learning
  • Data mining and Decision support systems
  • Modeling

Running projects:

  • Cardiotocography analysis (partially funded by grants of GAČR (2014-2016) and IGA MZ (2010-2015)) and
  • Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy (partially funded by AZV project (2015-2019)).
