The research group NAP is focused on theoretical issues connected with activity of hearing function at human and experimental animals. It origins from the results of experimental work performed at the Department of neurophysiology of hearing of the Institute of Experimental Medicine of the Academy of Sciences. It performs modelling functions of individual neurons and neural networks in the hearing system. It is focused on quantitative morphology of hearing system and reconstruction of function of neural circuits of individual levels of hearing pathway at human and experimental animals.
