National Center of Competence proposal succeeded by TAČR

The good news for CIIRC CTU was announced on October 19, 2018. The proposal National Center of Competence Cybernetics and Artificial Intelligence succeeded in the call National Centers of Competence by Technology Agency (TAČR) of the Czech Republic. The proposal is lead by CIIRC CTU. Its principal investigator is Prof. Vladimír Mařík.

The project partners are CertiCon a.s.; Continental Automotive Czech Republic s.r.o.; DEL a.s.; DFC Design, s.r.o.; ELEKTROTECHNIKA, a.s.; LaserTherm spol. s r.o.; LTR s.r.o.; PREFA KOMPOZITY, a.s.; PT SOLUTIONS WORLDWIDE spol. s r.o.; Siemens, s.r.o.; ŠKODA AUTO a.s.; TG Drives, s.r.o.; TMV SS spol. s r.o.; TŘINECKÉ ŽELEZÁRNY, a. s.; UniControls a.s.; Ústav informatiky AV ČR, v.v.i.; Ústav teorie informace a automatizace AV ČR, v.v.i.; Ústav termomechaniky AV ČR, v.v.i; VŠB – Technická univerzita Ostrava; Vysoké učení technické v Brně; Západočeská univerzita v Plzni; ZAT a.s.

The project will be funded for two years initially. If successful, the funding may continue for another five years.
