Are you a fan of R/C cars? Are you interested in autonomous driving? And do you know what R/C cars have to do with Porsche? Then you should not miss a unique opportunity to meet with a CTU student team which at the Czech Institute of Informatics, Robotics, and Cybernetics designs and programs autonomous R/C cars under the guidance of prof. Zdeněk Hanzálek. During an open public event they will introduce their race cars and show how autonomously driven cars can deal with unknown track and sudden obstacles.

Autonomous driving is based on programming algorithms and finding the right one is more important than the actual design of a car. We invite you to come and learn how autonomous R/C cars are programed and how this student project can help with the development of real size autonomous car such as Porsche Panamera. Prof. Hanzálek and his team will show you their cars in action and will be happy to answer any questions.

And if you are a student interested in R/C cars and their programming this is a great opportunity to join the team. They are just looking to expand.
