ALQUIST on board with an international chatbot competition

Alquist student team has been selected for the third time among the ten teams that will try to win the Amazon contest for the best conversational robot. This time, the judges were selecting from over 375 applications from 15 countries. And of course, this year´s contestants also include teams that the CTU student team met during the past two years – the University of California, Davis (last year´s winner; University of California, Santa Cruz; Carnegie Mellon University and Emory University.

This year the organizers follow totally different time schedule. Selected teams will be heading to Seattle for the opening Boot Camp in the coming summer. The official kick-off will be in September and the competition will run until May 2020 when finalists will be selected. The winner will be announced in June next year.
