The Czech Institute of Informatics, Robotics and Cybernetics CTU in Prague (CIIRC CTU) and the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering CTU in Prague (FME CTU) followed up on the first successful workshop on „Education for Industry 4.0“, organized by the National Center for Industry 4.0 (NCP4.0) for employees from regional offices of the National Pedagogical Institute of the Czech Republic (NPI – www.npicr.cz). The event took place in mid September.

The participants had the opportunity to listen examples of modern industrial production in Testbed for Industry 4.0 at CIIRC CTU and also with current challenges for modern education for Industry 4.0. These modern education schemas are developed and practically implemented within the Cluster 4.0 projects and the EIT Manufacturing consortium project group. The content of the workshop was based on the program of the first meeting, which we informed about in the news at the beginning of September.

The participants also visited the 3D printing center CIIRC CTU and Testbed for Industry 4.0, where they got acquainted with some technologies and procedures that were introduced to them in the theoretical part of the seminar.

The seminar was attended by almost thirty methodologists and specialists in vocational education from regional NPI workplaces, who appreciated the program tailored to their requirements and especially its high professional level.
