On Wednesday, March 20, 2024, the conference Digitization of SMEs 2024: The use of AI in industrial production took place in the campus of the Polytechnic University in Jihlava in the presence of more than 130 participants. The event, which is organized annually by the CzechInvest agency and the National Industry 4.0 Center in cooperation with the Jihlava Polytechnic University (VŠPJ), this time focused on trends in the field of introducing artificial intelligence into industrial processes. Petr Kadera, head of the Intelligent Systems for Industry team at CIIRC, also appeared as a speaker at this event. Together with Petr Musil from the DEL company, they talked about the topic Factory for a Second Life. Another speaker from our institute was Ondřej Beránek, head of the AI-MATTERS (TEF) office and member of the Intelligent Systems Department team.
The Digitization of SMEs 2024 conference: The use of AI in industrial production brought valuable information and inspiration to everyone who is interested in modern trends in the digitization of industry. Conference participants learned about specific examples of the use of AI and data collection in industry, including the practical use of SmartBin and SmartLabel systems or warehouse automation. There was also information about services for SMEs in testing AI in a real environment.
