In an interview for Česká Televize – Studio 6, Pavel Burget explains how the Czech Institute of Informatics, Robotics and Cybernetics (CIIRC) connects cutting-edge research with the needs of Czech industry. Through the RICAIP Testbed Prague – a state-of-the-art industrial test environment – the institute hosts events where company representatives can explore advanced technologies they often don’t even know are available. Businesses are given the opportunity to test equipment and tools they would otherwise not be able to access. Burget emphasizes that the focus is on technologies such as laser machining, 3D printing, advanced methods combining additive and traditional manufacturing, as well as computer vision systems and artificial intelligence.
