Abstract:

The energy sector is rapidly changing. The basic objective of this project is to address the new emerging technologies, economic changes and European energy law, and to propose steps to cope with the situation, especially for the community energy plans. Important is the application of the new EU Winter Energy Package, in particular the creation and equalization of energy communities and the use of Industry 4.0. Changing economy situation brings new opportunities for energy communities. Regulation of new energy models must be included in the system from the very beginning of its planning. Consumers are rapidly transformed into active consumers. The main methodological novelty is modelling the decentral energy infrastructure in accordance with the legislative environment of the Winter energy package. The view from the side of the real investor and his needs is innovative, especially in what circumstances he opts for energy solutions cooperating with the energy system.

This project is supported by the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic within the programme National Centres of Competence 1: Support programme for applied research, experimental development and innovation.
